Standalone app access

Temporary access for non-CausewayOne users

If your Alloy account hasn't been migrated to CausewayOne, you can access Asset Management on its own:

  1. Visit uk.alloyapp.io/id in your web browser.

  2. Enter your email address then select Next.

  3. If your Alloy account has been migrated to CausewayOne, you will be redirected (see Sign in). Otherwise, do one of the following:

    Sign in with Email

Enter your Alloy account password and select Sign in. If you don't know your password, select Forgot password? to verify your email address and set a new password.

    Sign in with Google

If your Google account has the same email address as your Alloy account, you can use it to prove your identity. Select Sign in with SSO and then Sign in with Google to display the Google authentication screen.

If your web browser is currently signed into any Google service, just select your account in the list. Otherwise, enter your Google account details to continue.

    3. If prompted to stay signed in, selecting Yes will skip the authentication screen next time (not recommended for shared devices).

    info

If you're unable to sign in with a workplace Microsoft account, your IT department may need to register Alloy or CausewayOne with Microsoft Entra ID first. To learn more, see this Microsoft article.

  4. When you're signed in, use the Overview page to access the apps and classic features available to you. If the apps aren't enabled for your company, you'll be taken to Asset Classic instead.

App bar

When accessing the Asset Management Apps outside of CausewayOne, the app bar appears at the top. Use it to launch apps, search your data, switch customer projects and configure your user profile.

1 App launcher

To open another app, select Apps and then choose one in the list. To open the app in a new browser tab, use middle-click or Ctrl-click, or select its button.

Search for items and features within the current app or across the Asset Management Apps. To learn more, see Search.

3 Customer project

A customer project represents a self-contained database that stores all your designs, items, layers and other Asset Management data. In CausewayOne, each company has its own customer project.

The active customer project is shown in the app bar. If you belong to multiple, select the active one to switch between them. If you have multiple Asset Management tabs open in your web browser, refresh them to ensure you're using the correct customer project.

info

Not to be confused with Projects, which provide a way to manage a group of task items.
