Colour is an important part of the Asset Management experience! Most features can have colours assigned to them, such as designs, items, layers, boards, hubs and more.

Use colour to help identify and classify your assets and activities, so that users can process information more efficiently, e.g. yellow shades for street lighting, grey shades for highways, green shades for trees.

Using the colour picker

When you're creating or editing an Asset Management feature, you can typically set its icon and colour.

Select the Colour field to show the colour picker. Scroll through the available colours and choose one that best represents the feature you're configuring.

The Colour field will be populated with the chosen colour's hexadecimal value and a small sample.
