Item picker
Select items from a list
The item picker displays a searchable list of items for easy selection.
When you select a field that requires you to pick one or more items, the item picker appears. By default, it lists items in alphabetical and numerical order. Scroll through the list and select the items you want (select again to deselect).
Search the list
Use the search box to filter the items in the list. By default, items are searched according to their title and subtitle. Therefore, you can potentially search by name, design type, location, serial number and so on, depending on the design/interface being searched.
Searches can be partial. In the image below, searching for winches located items on Winchester Close and Winchester Avenue.
View selected
The number of selected items appears in the top-right corner. Select it to view them separately. When you're working with a long list, this can be helpful for checking what you've selected.
To deselect items here, select their Deselect buttons, or select Remove all. Select the top-left corner to return to the full list.
Save
Select Save to finish. The field displays the number of items you selected.
Custom search settings
You can customise how items of the current design/interface appear within item pickers. Choose how their attributes are searched, which collections are searched and how items are sorted.
To do this, select Search settings beside the search box:

-

-
Word match - a title/subtitle that contains all words in the query.
-
-
Search in collection - select one or more item collections to search in.
-
Sort by - choose how the resulting item list is sorted (deselect all for No sorting):

-

-
-
Sort order - sort the results in Ascending (A -> Z) or Descending (Z -> A) order.
Select Save to finish.
Search settings are saved per design/interface and stored in your web browser. If you clear your browsing history or use a different browser, they will revert to default.
