Modules
What are modules?
Alloy's flexibility makes it a great tool for managing a wide range of asset classes. To facilitate this, we provide ready-made designs and interfaces for the assets and tasks commonly found within various industries.
As few customers are involved in every industry, it makes sense to provide these as separate modules. This means Alloy can be tailored to your business requirements.
Therefore, a module is a bundle of designs/interfaces created for a specific category, which are blueprinted so they can be extended but not modified.
Modules can also include:
-
a dashboard card to provide:
-
item counts for important module designs
-
bespoke item creation processes for important module designs
e.g. the Financial Accounts module has a Create invoice process -
shortcuts for listing items of important module designs
-
-
reports involving the module's designs
-
workflows involving the module's designs
-
permission groups and roles for managing user access to the module's content
