Overview

The Defects module includes a standard defects design that provides you with a set of standard details that you can use as part of a process to create and manage defects associated with assets.

Mandatory details

The following two defect details are mandatory for all defects.

Defect number

When you create a new defect Alloy automatically assigns a defect number. The defect number is mandatory and unique and does not actually appear as a field that you can edit. The defect number attribute can be inserted into the title field for each defect, when it is created.

Status

The status field allows you to select from a list of statuses defined within the system.
