Description of a Text attribute setup
Overview
The Text attribute allows you to hold textual information (strings) on each item.
When you select a Text attribute one of the following pages is displayed on the left hand side of the workspace.
The Text attribute allows you to define the following text settings within the attribute:
- Default value - this allows you to set the default text that appears within the attribute.
- Min length - this allows you to set the minimum length of the text that can be entered for the attribute.
- Max length - this allows you to set the maximum length of the text that can be entered for the attribute.
- Regular expression - this allows you to define regular expressions for the attribute.
- Tag - this allows you to apply Tags to items.
When you have completed the required fields select the Create button.
