Using colour in Alloy
Colour is an important part of the Alloy user interface designed to help you process information more effectively. Alloy includes colour palette that you can use to label and identify the items that you create within your database.
Whenever you create a new design, layer or item within Alloy you are prompted to assign colour that is used in conjunction with any icon that you select. When you select the Colour field the colour palette popup is displayed.
You can scroll through the palette of available colours to select the appropriate colour for the type of design or item that you are creating.
When you have selected the required colour you are returned to the page you are working on. The hexadecimal value of the colour and a small sample are displayed in the colour field.
