What the tab bar allows you to do
The Tab bar appears at the top of the right hand panel, just below the basic details of the selected item. The tab bar allows you to work with all the available details of the selected item. By default the General details are displayed when you select an item.
User permissions may restrict your use of individual tabs on the tab bar.
Navigating the tab bar
You can navigate the tabs for the selected item by using the left and right arrows on either side of the tab. The tabs that are available depend on the item that you have selected.
Alternatively, you can select the tab and display a list of all the tabs and then select the tab you require.
Sorting the tab bar
Alloy allows you to sort the displayed list in tabs whose content is controlled by AQS, for example, Defects, Inspections and Jobs. When you display a tab that contains a list, for example, inspections, the sorting button is displayed at the bottom of the list.
- Select the sorting button, the sort dialog is displayed.
This allows you to define the how the list should be sorted.
- Configure (inspection) tab - this allows you to select an attribute to use for the sort.
- Sort order - this allows you to define whether the list is sorted in ascending or descending order.
Your selection is displayed in the dialog.
- When you have completed your selections select the Save button. The list is sorted within the tab display.
