What are the standard inspection details?
Overview
The inspections module contains a standard inspection design that provides you with a set of standard details that you can use as part of a process to create and manage inspections.
Mandatory details
The following two inspection details are mandatory for all inspections.
Inspection number
When you create a new inspection Alloy automatically assigns an inspection number. The inspection number is mandatory and unique and does not actually appear as a field that you can edit. The inspection number attribute can be inserted into the title field for each inspection, when it is created.
Status
The status field allows you to select from a list of statuses defined within the system.
Optional details
The following defect details are optional, however, they may be configured as being mandatory prior to the installation of the system.
Related inspections
This allows you to select any existing inspections that have been raised and are associated with the inspection you are creating
Attachments
This allows you to attach one or more document files related to the inspection you are creating.
Description
This allows you to enter a detailed description of the inspection.
Raised date
This allows you to record the date and time that an inspection is raised.
Estimated start date
This allows you to record the estimated start date and time for the inspection.
Estimated duration
This allows you to enter an estimated duration time for the inspection.
Start date
This allows you to record the actual start date and time of an inspection.
Completion date
This allows you to record the actual completion date and time of an inspection.
Target date
This allows you to record a target date and time of an inspection.
Raised jobs
This allows you to select any existing jobs that have been raised and are associated with the inspection you are creating.
Raised defects
This allows you to select any existing defects that have been raised and are associated with the inspection that you are creating.
