Overview

When you start the process of creating defects, inspections, jobs or projects you are required to select one or more assets. Alloy allows you to assign defects, inspections, jobs and projects against multiple items at the same time.

Note

You can preselect one or more assets before starting any activity and Alloy will include the selected assets in the activity process.

Selecting multiple items from the map

  1. Ensure the layer is active for the activity or asset types that you want to select, see Layers panel.

  2. Zoom in until the layer shows icons representing separate items, see [Maps] Layers panel.

  3. Select the draw area tool. This allows you to draw a marquee around the icons that you want to select.
