When you login to an Alloy mobile device your workspace is displayed.

Understanding the workspace

Map

Alloy mobile features a beautiful map in its centre. The map lets you explore your network and assets. You can navigate the map using standard touch screen gestures to pan, zoom, tilt and rotate. You can change the way your map looks with different basemaps.

Main menu

This icon allows you to display the Main menu and access all the mobile tools.

Synchronize data

This icon allows you to synchronise the mobile device with the Alloy server.

Search tool

The search tool allows you to search for assets, jobs, inspections.

Search here

The search here button, searches for all assets, jobs, defects and inspections within the map area displayed on the screen.

My Location

The My location tool allows you to display your location on the map. The map is centred on your location and a blue dot indicates you location.

Add asset

The Add asset tool allows you to add assets to the map, as well as add job work items to the asset.
