How to create an Item data source type
Overview
An item type data source allows you to populate its data from a single item. The user will be allowed to select the item at report runtime, you can think of the data source table as a single row with headers matching the attributes on that item.
Creating an Item data source
To create an Item data source you need to select the Item type.
An Item data source requires you to select a design or interface that forms the basis of the query, for example, street lights.
When you have selected a design or interface you can use the Default item field to select a related item. The data from the selected item will be used to populate the data source by default. The user will be able to select another item at report runtime.
To complete the data source select Create.
