Overview

There are three types of controls that you can use to manage image attributes:

• File image
• Image URL
• SVG

Image attributes allow you to include images in your item details.

Adding a File Image control

The File Image control allows you to add a control that can be linked to an image link attribute that allows you to link images within an item.

1. Access the stencil editor for the design you want to change.
2. Select the Add control option to display the Add controls dialog.
3. Select the File Image control from the list of available controls. The control is inserted and the configuration dialog is displayed.

4. Select the Attribute field to display the Attribute dialog that allows you to select the required link attribute from the current design. Attributes that are not available are greyed out, only link attributes can be selected.

5. The Label field allows you to enter a custom label for the control that appears in the item details.

6. When you have completed adding controls select the Save stencil button to update the stencil.

Adding an Image URL or SVG

The Image URL or SVG control allows you to add a control that can be linked to a text attribute that allows you to link either images or SVG content within an item.

1. Access the stencil editor for the design you want to change.
2. Select the Add control option to display the Add controls dialog.
3. Select the Image URL or SVG control from the list of available controls. The control is inserted and the configuration dialog is displayed.

4. Select the Attribute field to display the Attribute dialog that allows you to select the required text attribute from the current design. Attributes that are not available are greyed out, only text attributes can be selected.

5. The Label field allows you to enter a custom label for the control that appears in the item details.

6. When you have completed adding controls select the Save stencil button to update the stencil.
