Plan, perform and record asset maintenance

Alloy is much more than a simple inventory system! Your assets will require a mixture of scheduled and reactive maintenance to keep them performing optimally throughout their lifespan.

Alloy can help you to plan and perform this maintenance. Through the use of activities, you can respond to events, record observations and allocate work.

There are three types of activity in Alloy:

  • Defects - when an asset's condition rating falls below a set standard, register a defect against it.

  • Inspections - create an inspection to observe an asset's condition and verify any defects registered against it.

  • Jobs - create jobs for work that needs doing, which can be formalised into discrete work units.

Tools

In addition, Alloy provides you with the following coordination tools:

  • Projects - create a project to bundle multiple tasks together and define routes between them.

  • Teams - create teams consisting of one or more people that you can allocate work to.

  • Account pricing - create account pricing tables for work units and the teams associated with each asset.
