Creating inspection designs

Customise your inspections with the right questions​

Overview​

When you need to collect better data through inspections, create a new inspection design with questions tailored to your needs.

A basic inspection design includes the following interfaces and standard attributes that appear in all inspection items.

Creating an inspection design​

To create an inspection design use the following procedure:

  1. Go to the Designer module and select Create design.

  2. Select the Inspection type from the list of design types.

  3. In the dashboard panel, complete the design form, see Creating designs.

  4. Select Create. Your new design is displayed in the right panel. Customise the design by adding attributes.

Depending on your permission settings, you may not be able to create designs. Contact your administrator for assistance.
