Using specialised pickers

Maintaining assets and tracking activities requires the entering of data!

Therefore, you are often presented with data fields to fill in. Some of these you can type in directly, others require you to select from a set of displayed values.

For example:

• setting the colour and icon of a new design
• populating an attribute with a date or time
• selecting the asset(s) that a new defect, inspection or job will apply to

When you select one of these fields, a specialised picker will appear to help you select the values you want.
