Calendar picker
Selecting date and time values
The calendar picker provides a familiar way to easily enter dates and times into Alloy. It varies slightly depending on the type of field you're filling in:
- Date calendar picker
- Date and Time calendar picker
- Multi-Date calendar picker
- Seasonal calendar picker
Date calendar picker
This picker appears when you select a Date field.
By default, the current month in the current year is shown, with today's date highlighted in grey. Use the arrows in the blue bar to move to the previous/next month.
To change the month or year, select it in the blue bar, and then choose a new value from the list. Use the arrows to move between the available years.
Select the date you want and then select Save to finish.
Date and Time calendar picker
This picker appears when you select a Date and Time field.
This works similarly to the Date picker but also requires a time to be set. Select the time in the blue bar and then type within the boxes. Depending on the attribute being set, the Second box may not be shown.
After setting a time and selecting a date, select Save to finish.
Multi-Date calendar picker
Alloy sometimes lets you enter multiple dates in a single field (e.g. when creating a schedule workflow). When you select the field, the Dates window appears.
You're free to use these buttons multiple times, if you want to add different dates with different times:
-
Add - select a single date and time, as described above.
-
Add many - select multiple dates with a single time. To review your selected dates at any point, open the Selected tab in the blue bar. When you select Save, you'll be asked to set the time if you haven't already.
Select Save to finish.
Seasonal calendar picker
This appears when you select a Seasonal field.
By default, the current month is shown. Use the arrows in the blue bar to move between months. Alternatively, select the month in the blue bar and then choose one from the list.
Select the date that you want to repeat each year and then select Save to finish.
