Basemaps

Set the background of the map

A basemap provides the map imagery displayed in the map area and the Geometry Editor.

By creating and enabling layers, you can overlay items on the basemap according to the value of their Geometry attribute. You can switch the current basemap at any time, enabling you to view your organisation's item data in various geographic contexts.

Two general-purpose basemaps are included to help you get started. However, feel free to add as many others as you like!

Note

If you're unable to view or manage basemaps, your user account may lack the required permissions.
