Deleting groups

Delete an unused group

Admins can delete groups when they're no longer needed (except for system groups). Any roles and users assigned to the group will no longer inherit its permissions, so it's worth checking these before proceeding!

To permanently delete a group:

  1. Open the Permissions dashboard card and select Groups.

  2. In the right panel, select the group from the search results to view its details.

  3. Select Delete in the action bar and answer Yes to the confirmation.

Caution

Deletions can't be undone, so please think carefully before doing so!
