Location search

Go anywhere in the world​

Use the Location search to visit any location on the map 🗺️. You can enter all or part of an address, a business name, or a popular landmark, e.g. The Tower of London, Empire State Building. If you can find it on Google Maps, you can find it on Alloy's map!

Search for a location​

To search for an address or point of interest:

  1. Select Search in the right panel menu to open the Search panel.

  2. If necessary, select to clear the previous search.

  1. In the suggestions popover, choose Locations. If it's missing, see Configure search suggestions.

  1. Type an address or place name in the search box and press the Enter key.

Note

You can also search for latitude and longitude coordinates in the Decimal Degree format, e.g. 41.40338, 2.17403.

  1. Select a result to view its details and travel to its location on the map.

    The details displayed depend on the location. Businesses typically display a phone number and website along with the address. To open the location in Google Maps, select beside the Url.
