- Go to the Activities module.
- In left panel, select Create Work item. The Create Work Items page is displayed in the left panel.
There are 5 steps listed, steps and are mandatory and step is optional. The remaining steps are not applicable to work items.
- Select step , the Design page is displayed.
- You need to select the Design field, this displays the dialog that allows you to select the type of work item you are creating.
- Select the design that you require. The design is displayed in the left hand panel.
- Select Next to accept your selection and move onto to the next step.
- The first step of the process indicates that it is complete.

If you configure Team pricing tables for a work item then the default rate is replaced by the team pricing default rate, see Configuring Team Pricing.
